Hello friends. I am Vandana, a Bengali by heart and soul and a passionate cook. I love to experiment with different dishes, be it a Bengali one or not. The best part of Indian food is it's tradition. We have all kinds of foods specified for a particular occasion/puja. Now a days these traditions are passing into oblivion, hence I strongly believe that it is ur duty to pass it to the next generations. 
We just celebrated Janmashtami a week back. 'Taler bora' is one of the foods that we Bengalis offer to Lord Krishna/Gopal during puja. This lovely recipe is no doubt loved by all, at least I haven't come across anyone who does not like this fried dessert. But the main story lies in it's preparation. Yes it's that tough or rather time consuming. It takes the whole day and I really mean it.
