LOTTE/LOITYA MACHHER JHURI

My today's post is a traditional fish recipe. A lot of you have requested for this 'Lotte Machher Jhuri' recipe so here I am. 
This recipe is mostly considered as a 'bangal ranna'  or East Bengal recipe. So for being a 'Dhakaya Bangal', how can I not try it at home. 'Bangal ranna' or dishes prepared by East Bengal people are mostly characterised by loads of spices/oil and less of sugar. This dish is a perfect example of it. I have not used a single drop of water and it's totally cooked in oil. The water that you will see in the pictures are the ones that came out from the fish while cooking.
There are various ways of cooking it, like some like to add potato/garam masala powder/sugar but I personally prefer it without all these ingredients, however you can always make it in your own way.
